Beach & Shore Fishing Directory

Locations > Beach and Shore Fishing

Find a shore fishing spot in Florida for fishing, snorkeling, diving, snorkeling, surfing or sun bathing. There are public beaches and parks in every coastal county of Florida. Public beaches are usually open sunrise to sunset with most having metered parking. County and state run beaches require you to have a fishing license to fish from shore. Many beaches do not allow fishing or diving from shore, so inquire locally for the current rules. Always look for fishing signs when you arrive at a site; most beaches allow fishing in Florida but some do not and it will be posted at the entrance.

The Keys Beaches & Shores

The Florida Keys are surrounded by water yet there are not many beaches! Many beaches are not very deep but long with shallow waters and little surf due to the reefs that flank the islands - but the water is usually crystal clear. All beaches in the Keys allow fishing from shore (unless otherwise posted) and most allow you to bring your furry friends (dogs) on leashes. Snorkeling from the beach can be amazing, just remember you need a dive flag.
