Lionfish have been reported around Florida, in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, both on inshore and offshore reefs. There are literally over 5,000 reefs that need to be checked for lionfish and if found, harvested to control this evasive species.
Lionfish are a real threat to the future of Florida waters and divers are the only ones that can remove the lionfish - you cannot catch a lionfish with hook and line.

Escambia Memory Card Helps Diver Find Reefs and Spears 72 Lionfish
Hi Liz,
Made a trip out of Pensacola on October 12 to shoot some Lionfish. I used the spots I purchased from you last year. We used the descriptions included with the spots to find some pyramids. We hit pay dirt. Two of us filled the Zookeeper on each of three dives, 72 Lionfish total.
Your spots are right on the money. It would have been much harder to manually enter all these marks in the GPS. This one trip made my purchase worth it. Any word on when the Alabama card will be released? Thanks for a great product.
